Tenuta Luce
Description
Located in the heart of Tuscany, Tenuta Luce is situated in the renowned Montalcino area. This estate represents an ideal balance between tradition and innovation, with a clear international vision. It covers 249 hectares, 88 of which are dedicated to the cultivation of vines. These vineyards are located on hilly terrain, situated between 350 and 420 meters above sea level.
Set in a setting of rare beauty, the vineyards enjoy a Mediterranean climate. The soils, rich in clay, shale and sand, create optimal conditions for cultivation. Every detail of the terroir is carefully studied to enhance the unique characteristics of each parcel. As a result, the wines turn out complex and elegant.
The meticulous care during the production cycle, combined with the optimal exposure of the vineyards, guarantees grapes of the highest quality. These reflect the authenticity and richness of the Montalcino terroir.
Founded in 1993, Tenuta Luce is the result of the encounter between Tuscan tradition and a modern vision. The project was born from the collaboration between Vittorio Frescobaldi and Robert Mondavi, two emblematic figures in the wine world. Their vision was to create wines that represented the best of Tuscany, combining innovation and local tradition.
Each Tenuta Luce wine is the result of a perfect balance between Sangiovese and Merlot. Sangiovese, a symbol of Tuscan tradition, is combined with Merlot, which adds softness and harmony. This combination underscores the estate’s philosophy: to celebrate local identity while enriching it with an international flair.
In addition, Tenuta Luce is fully committed to environmental protection and land enhancement. Sustainable agronomic practices aim to preserve biodiversity and responsibly manage natural resources. Every decision aims to maintain harmony between man and nature, ensuring a prosperous future for the wines and the land.
The name “Luce” evokes the vital energy of the sun, which is essential for the growth of the vines and the ripening of the grapes. The solar symbol on the label pays homage to Renaissance art and culture, recalling the beauty and harmony present in every wine glass.
