The estate stands on a unique clay hillside. This exceptional terroir is characterized by soils composed mainly of bluish marine clays, which give the wine structure, intensity and an extraordinary freshness.

The Mediterranean climate, mitigated by the proximity of the Tyrrhenian Sea, ensures optimal exposure and slow and regular ripening of the grapes. The unique combination of soil, climate and exposure makes the Masseto vineyard a special place, capable of producing a wine that has no equal.

Masseto is synonymous with perfection. Every stage of production is conducted with maniacal care, from work in the vineyard to winemaking and aging. The estate’s philosophy is to let the terroir speak through the wine, respecting the unique characteristics of each vintage.
