Brovia
Description
Cantina Brovia is a historic winery located in Castiglione Falletto, in the heart of the wonderful lands of Barolo, in the province of Cuneo. Founded back in 1863, it is today one of the most interesting realities of the Piedmontese wine scene.
The winery is organic and has 19 hectares of its own vineyards, spread across different areas of Barolo and the Langhe. This diversity of soils gives Cantina Brovia’s wines well-defined and distinct characteristics and personalities. Management is female, with Elena and Cristina Brovia carrying on the family tradition with passion and dedication.
Cantina Brovia’s winery philosophy is strongly linked to the importance of “terroir.” Each Barolo produced is vinified using the same techniques, but with grapes from different vineyards, thus enhancing the peculiarities of each individual plot.
The winery’s most renowned wines include Barolo DOCG “Villero,” Barolo DOCG “Garblèt Sué,” and Barolo DOCG “Rocche di Castiglione.” In addition to Barolo, the winery also produces other fine wines such as Barbera d’Alba DOC and Nebbiolo d’Alba DOC.
Brovia Winery is an example of how tradition and innovation can coexist harmoniously, offering high quality wines that reflect the richness and diversity of the Piedmont region.
